Interests

I work at the intersection of software engineering and payments. I'm building on the x402 protocol for agent-based payments. My background is in explainable AI; I stay current with research and practice in the field.

Outside work I spend as much time as I can in the mountains—skiing (freeride, slalom) or mountaineering (alpinism, trail running). In the Netherlands that's mostly bouldering and climbing gyms, tennis, and occasional surfing in Scheveningen.
